What’s the difference between a standard baby changing mat and a professional grade mat?
Compared to standard ‘home’ changing mats – which tend to be flat – our professional-grade changing mats all have a ‘wedge’ shape or welded raised sides. As such, they’re ‘anti-roll’. The concaved surface holds baby as snugly as possible, maximising their safety, whilst ensuring quick nappy changes for the caregiver.

How many changing mats do I need for my early years setting?
This depends on how many children are in your care.
According to government guidance, early years settings – including creches, nurseries, preschools etc. – should have at least one nappy changing facility for every 10 children using nappies. This is consistent with the minimum number of toilets required for older children.
